The Desert Centre is a non-profit organization and our dedicated group of volunteers are an integral part of our operation. Summer is our busiest time – but there are opportunities to help out year round. The volunteer duties range from front desk reception to weeding and restoration events to guiding tours on the boardwalk. Training is provided and it is a great chance to learn about the unique habitat that the Desert Society aims to protect.
