Restoration News
Restoration - The Osoyoos Desert Society has been awarded grants from Fortis and the Real Estate Foundation of BC to restore parts of the Antelope brush habitat.  So far, we have pulled out acres of mustard, toadflax and crested wheatgrass.  We've replaced these non-native weeds with some of our native flora: Bluebunch Wheatrass, Needle and Thread grass, Red Three Awn, Great Basin Giant Wild Rye, Sand Dropseed, Antelope brush, Sagebrush, Grey Horsebrush, Rabbitbrush and White Clematis.
