The Great-Basin Desert

The Desert in Osoyoos is part of the Great-Basin desert. The very Northern tip of the Great-Basin desert extends into Canada as shown in the map below. The desert in Osoyoos is NOT part of the Sonoran Desert which is a common misnomer.
